Working Together Group

The Working Together groups are designed to develop and enhance social interaction skills, social awareness and self-esteem in adults. As everyone has individual capabilities and needs, the facilitators of the groups structure the program to ensure that these needs are appropriately addressed. These programs are devised based on the issues raised by each individual participant.

The extensive program, consisting of four 2-hour sessions, includes topics such as:
- Conversation and Listening Skills; starting and maintaining conversations and how to be an effective listener.
- The Importance of Healthy Friendships; establishing and maintaining healthy friendships.
- Conflict Resolution; how to solve problems.
- Addressing and expressing emotions properly.
- Assertiveness techniques; when are appropriate times to be assertive and how to be self-confident.
- Self Esteem and Positive Attitude Strategies; how to feel good about oneself and others.

The Working Together groups are run according to interest so if you would like to participate in a Working Together group or would like some further information, please email us your details and we will get the required information sent out to you.
