Principal Psychologists
Natalie Kleindyk and Helen Tsamoulos are the Principal
Psychologists and founders of Concepts Psychological
Consultants. Together they have over twenty years of
experience working with individuals and groups to facilitate
positive change. They have worked extensively in the development
and implementation of group programs in a range of areas.
Natalie Kleindyk
B.A. (Psych), Grad. Dip. Sc. (Psych), Associate MAPS
Natalie is a Registered Psychologist, who has worked with
children and families over the past eight years. This has
included both an assessment and counselling role. Her keen
interests include educational assessments and learning
interventions to assist children and young people in achieving
their potential. She also enjoys working with children and their
families to work through any emotional difficulties in order to
meet individual needs and maintain a healthy environment. This
extends to counselling adult clients from a Health Psychology
perspective so that issues or barriers to personal growth and
self awareness can be addressed and goals achieved.
Natalie has also consulted to organisations for assessment,
development and training purposes. This is in order to
facilitate the development and growth of employees to assist
them in realising their own potential as well as to achieve high
professional organisational standards.
Helen Tsamoulos
B.Sc. (Psych), Grad. Dip. Sc. (Psych), Grad. Dip. Counselling, MAPS
Helen is a Registered Psychologist and Member of the Australian
Psychological Society. She has been providing counselling
services to children, families and adults for over eight years.
Helen's experience extends to facilitating group programs for
children through to adults for a variety of issues which include
anxiety, depression and self esteem.
Helen is particularly interested in working with children who
have an ASD and is able to offer thorough assessments for ASD
using the Autism Diagnosis Observation Schedule (ADOS) and the
Autism Diagnostic Interview Schedule. In addition to the
therapeutic intervention that she provides children and their
families as a Consultant-In-Training through RDI, she also
develops and facilitates group programs for children with an ASD.
Another area of interest and experience that Helen has been
involved in is Sports Psychology. Helen has consulted with
coaches and athletes, at both an individual and team level, to
assist with mental preparation, motivation and peak performance.
Ida Shapievsky
B.Sc. (Psych), Post. Grad.
Dip. Sc. (Psych), Dip. Psychological Practice, Associate MAPS
Ida is a Registered
Psychologist and an Associate Member of the Australian
Psychological Society. In addition to her psychological
qualifications, she has completed training in counselling and
has over 6 years experience working with children, adolescents
and families. Ida has worked as a sexual assault counsellor, and
as a counsellor within a foster home in America. Ida also has
previously worked with children who have learning difficulties
at DORE in Sydney.
Ida is currently working in a
counselling role, providing solution focused therapy and
cognitive behavioural therapy to clients of all ages. Ida enjoys
working with both children and adults on a range of issues
including anxiety, depression and post-natal depression. Ida
also enjoys conducting assessments such as psychometric testing,
career counselling, IQ testing and dyslexia screening.
Kristy
Dunlop
B. Psych (Honours), M. Clin.
Psych, MAPS
Kristy is a Clinical
Psychologist and a Member of the Australian Psychological
Society. She has participated in clinical research and has a
broad range of experience in adult, child and adolescent
counselling for the past four years. Kristy also has experience
providing both therapeutic and career counselling to individuals
who are long-term unemployed, or those are experiencing
vocational difficulties.
Kristy is predominantly working
within a counselling role, providing Cognitive Behavioural
Therapy to clients of all ages and assisting them with a range
of difficulties including depression and anxiety. Kristy is also
working with foster carers by assisting them in the management
of their foster children, and is conducting psychometric
assessments to mostly school aged children. Kristy has a keen
interest in early intervention, and identifying and working with
children and adolescents who are at risk of developing a mental
illness.
Fiona Tzouramanis
B.A. (Psych), Grad. Dip Sc (Psych), Grad. Dip. Counselling, Associate
MAPS
Fiona is a Registered Psychologist and an Associate Member of
the Australian Psychological Society. In addition to her
psychological qualifications, she has completed training in
counselling, and has over 6 years experience working with
children, adolescents and families. Fiona has extensive
experience working with adolescents/youth who present with
challenging behaviours and those who are at-risk of exclusion
from mainstream society. She has worked with marginalized youth
within a variety of roles including an Individual and Family
Counsellor, Case Worker, and Youth Worker. Fiona is
particularly interested in drawing from Solution Focused
Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Behaviour Modification
Programs when working with her clients.
Fiona is currently working with foster carers, providing them with support and strategies to
effectively work with, and care for, their foster children. This
field of work includes utilising preventative strategies,
assisting with behaviour management, providing emotional support
and psycho-education.
Jackie Kingston
B.A. (Psych), Post. Grad.
Dip. Psych, Associate MAPS
Jackie is a Registered
Psychologist who has participated in clinical research and has
provided counselling for 4 years to young people and adults
living with various mental health issues. She also has
experience working with children and their families in an
assessment capacity and as a program developer / facilitator.
Jackie is predominantly
working with foster carers, assisting them in the management and
care of their foster children. Jackie also conducts psychometric
assessments for children aged 5 - 17 within the school setting.
These assessments include liaising with the Teachers and Parents
of the children, and providing them with feedback and a
comprehensive report and recommendations from the testing.
Michael
Reid
Accredited Gym Instructor, Personal Trainer and Master Trainer
(AIF)
Michael has been involved in
the fitness industry since 1005 and has attached a Master
Trainer Certificate for Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer.
Michael has trained in various styles of fitness including as a
Martial Arts Instructor where he gained a black belt. He has
been involved with boxing, body building, and has also managed a
gym prior to starting his personal training studio. Michael's
goals for the future include building a strong client base for
the studio, utilising outdoor areas for classes such as
boxercise and core strength training. He looks forward to
providing clients with a comfortable and safe way towards a
healthier and fitter self.
